Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presenter Instructions

Each oral presenter is allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions/discussion as per the workshop agenda. These times will be strictly enforced in order to maintain the tight schedule.

All presentations will be delivered using a computer and electronic projection. If a speaker chooses to use his or her personal computer, the presentation should be checked in advance of the scheduled time.

We encourage speakers to load their Powerpoint presentations on the conference laptop in advance of the session. This will enable seamless scheduling and avoid any loss of time when switching computers (and thus loss of individual presentation time).

Make Duplicate Copy of Presentation on Flash Drive

To facilitate the schedule of the symposium, please have an extra copy of your presentation on a flash drive in the event that there is a communication issue between our audio/visual equipment and your laptop. A back-up file in pdf is recommended.
