Speaker Instructions

School Lecturers

Each lecture is allotted 45 minutes for material presentation, followed by 15 minutes for questions and discussion.

Invited Conference Speakers

Each invited talk is allotted 35 minutes for material presentation, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Contributed Conference Speakers

Each contributed talk is allotted 12 minutes for material presentation, followed by 3 minutes for questions and discussion.

General Remarks

All times will be strictly enforced due to the complexity of the schedule.

All presentations will be delivered using a computer and electronic projection. If a speaker chooses to use his or her personal computer, the presentation should be checked in advance of the scheduled time.

We encourage speakers - particularly the contributed oral presenters - to load their Powerpoint presentations on the conference laptop in advance of the session. This will enable seamless scheduling and avoid any loss of time incurred when switching computers (and thus loss of individual presentation time).
