Parking at UCSB
The University of California, Santa Barbara requires visitors to observe parking regulations and have a valid parking permit while visiting the UCSB campus.
UC Faculty or Staff Permit Holders
There is a reciprocal parking agreement between all UC campuses. If you are in possession of a valid UC parking permit, there is no need to obtain an additional permit when arriving at UCSB. Please proceed to the Mesa Parking Structure as indicated on the map.
Visitor parking is limited to "C" (Commuter) parking lots between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:00PM. Pay stations accept payment via Visa and Mastercard in addition to $1 and $5 bills (Note: the pay stations do not give change.)
Faculty permits are also valid in lots labeled "Faculty", and staff permits are valid in lots labeled "Staff". Please watch for spaces or areas within these lots that may have additional restrictions.
Please note faculty and staff permits are not valid in restricted areas, restricted spaces, reserved spaces, metered spaces, coastal access spaces or lots/spaces marked for vendors.
If you would like additional information regarding parking, please go to the Transportation & Parking Services web site.
