Shopbot CNC Router

This router uses a cutting tool mounted on an XYZ gantry to cut shapes into plastics, wood, and soft metal. The tool can cut in a 25.2 x 20 x 5.5 inch bounding box with +- .005 inch accuracy. The spindle RPM ranges from 6,000 - 18000 RPM, with a max cutting speed of 4 inches per second.
